How do you fight back when you can't seem to find your voice? Jensen is doing his best to get by in an abusive household while protecting his younger sister, but as the bruises continue to grow deeper he doesn’t know how much more he can take. Jared is doing his best to hold them all together, until Jensen takes matters into his own hands. Suddenly thrust upon unexpected journeys, Jared and Jensen will both have to walk alone in order to discover themselves and a way back. [ Warnings for drug use, child abuse, dub con, self-harm ]

I thought I was the only deaf person in LJ community and I am glad I am not alone, LOLOLOLOLOL..I am glad you wrote a story about the deaf Jensen cuz I haven't seen anyone wrote any story about deaf character.. I have to say you did a amazing job... Hugs Sorry for my grammers...

Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed it :D However, I am not deaf, just an ASL student studying to become an interpreter and teacher for the the Deaf/HOH. But, you are most definitely not the only deaf person in the LJ community!! I think I've gotten a few comments on a different fic I wrote about Dean being deaf from users that were HOH. And there's several communities about ASL/Deaf Culture. [info]deaf and [info]signing are a few I'm a part of. You should check them out!

LOLOL, I thought you a deaf person but you did a good job with your signing and I understand everything what you said in the video.. Yes good for you that you want to become an interperter and teacher for Deaf/HOH... I am plan to go back to school to get my teacher degree in Deaf/HOH.. Thanks for other communities about ASL and Deaf culture and I will check it out.. HUGS,.

Thanks! I take that as such a huge compliment that you thought I was deaf :D Thats so cool you want to become a teacher too! I can't wait until I can start working :) And no problem; hopefully you'll like the communitites!

I loved it - saved to memories. Reminded me of when the whole family had to lean sign to be able to communicate to faster brother :D

Thank you! We have a couple deaf/HOH members in our family but they all lost their hearing at an older age and use lip reading instead. I keep pushing for them to learn sign though. Maybe one of these days ^_^

Hey! I read the whole thing last night. Summary of my reactions?: Really enjoyed it. A really satisfying mix of pain, love, & joy. Your Jensen and Jared were both really well fleshed out. Even better, you had me invested in the other characters as well - Megan & Sandy especialy. Oh, and thumbs up to describing some of the signing.
